The WIB successfully launched the 180 program – surrounded by 180 branded banners, balloons and movie-sized posters – at a special meeting of the Bucks County Chamber of Commerce. Congressman Patrick Murphy delivered an impassioned speech in front of Chamber members, 180 business members, 180 youth, and the local press, urging everyone to get involved with the program. Moved by the Congressman’s speech, and by the emotional stories of the youth present, many employers signed up on the spot. The WIB expects this number to continue growing as word-of-mouth spreads.
